Cherry is a 10-month-old Golden Retriever who has all the classic golden retriever qualities. She is very loving and playful with other dogs, is fully housebroken and knows basic commands in English. She loves her toys and seems like she loves water. Cherry was bought from a breeder in the U.S. but unfortunately the family had very busy lives with 2 kids and, as first-time dog owners, Cherry was too much for them.
We are looking for a person or family who has experience with the golden retriever breed. Cherry still exhibits puppy behaviors, and she is a strong girl; she jumps on people, and grabs things and does not want to give them back. Note that Cherry has made great progress in training since she arrived to KR, e.g., responding to commands and leaving objects. The person who wants to adopt Cherry must understand and experienced with golden retriever puppy training while creating a strong loving relationship with her. While we are training her for her excitement jumps, at this time, we are only looking for a home with no children under 12 years old in the household.
Cherry is great on leash walking and loves other dogs; she would be a great playmate for another golden retriever in similar age or another golden in home who can be a good role model for her. Her favorite playmate is Flynn and she adores King. Overall, Cherry is a happy golden retriever puppy who is calm and quiet, fully house broken, and she has no separation anxiety. She will be a great addition to any person or family who loves her breed.
