Just arrived from Istanbul, Turkey.  Word reached us of a dog in need living on a rooftop. Our advocates rushed to the site fearful of the potential dangers this poor little girl was facing. What they found was this wonderful, loving dog chained and standing in the sleeting rain. Gentle and friendly, we have named our girl Merle (pronounce Mer-lay). She gets along with everyone and with freckles on her nose and gorgeous eyes this sweetie is a head turner. Merle is a great size and loves to give tons of kisses!
