What would you do if a stray dog, thin with a patchy, dull coat but an adorable face and a shoe in his mouth walked up to you, his tail wagging? Wouldn’t you want to snatch him up, take him home and take care of him? That is what happened on December 24th at a city dump in Corlu, Turkey when Cooper approached one of our animal advocates. They noticed he carried the shoe everywhere, crying for someone to play with him. This special guy has come so far. He is incredibly friendly with no food or toy guarding issues and he gets along well with people, other dogs and cats. Cooper is estimated to be 2 years old but we think he may be a little younger. He weighs 58 lbs. and is neutered. This boy has been through a lot and deserves the best home possible with someone who will love him and treat him as a member of the family. Could that be you??
