Arriving soon from Istanbul, Turkey... Benedict is a joy of life. A very social, affectionate and playful fellow who was released by a local shelter to the rural area. We rescued him on the day we sent a van to look for Matteo. Matteo was terrified to be alone on the street by himself and was so frightened we could not get him into the van. But Benedict came to us asking that we please rescue him. Since that day he has been the happiest boy ever. We named him Benedict because the meaning of the name "Benedict" is grace, blessing and being thankful. We love our Benedict and he loves everyone. He especially enjoys playing with other dogs.
