My name is Sparky. I’m a Schnoodle which is a cross between a Schnauzer and a Poodle. My foster mom and dad say that I’m super cute and very energetic! Even though I’m small (just 15 pounds), I love to play and chase my much larger foster brother around. I get into his toys all the time and even though they’re a little big for me, I have so much fun playing with them. I hope I have lots of toys at my forever home too. I also have a foster sister that’s a cat. It took me a couple of days though to figure out what she was because she doesn’t play with me but that’s okay, we can still lay next to each other without any problems. I love to cuddle and get belly rubs. Basically I’m all about love. Would you like to be my forever family?
In March 2020, we went to very rural shelter to rescue 9 golden retrievers who had no chance for adoption. We met with 8 golden retrievers, one mix and a puppy who was skin and bones, her fur all matted and we couldn’t leave her behind. She was under a year old, malnourished and not doing great. We named her Sparky, because we knew she was going to sparkle one day. After a long journey, her body won the fight against illness, she gained weight, and became a healthy and happy dog. She started to sparkle and dazzle as do the most precious stones. So Sparky was the right name for her. She is the most incredible soul and is a joyful dog who makes every other dog want to play and celebrate life together with her. Now Sparky is with us and ready to find her forever home.
