Just arrived from Istanbul, Turkey. Sydney is another precious girl that we rescued from the most unfortunate situation. She was hit by a car on the highway and we had no idea how long she was there before we got a request for help. We acted right away and took our girl, only a year old and skin and bones, to our vet where she received all the medical attention she needed and gained weight. After waiting a long time for a flight volunteer to accompany her to the U.S., Sidney is finally here and looking for a forever home. Her foster family reports that she is a cutie and a goofball! She has a unique personality that is a joy to be around. She is playful and curious, so sweet and affectionate. So far she seems to be housebroken. She has been allowed on furniture and makes herself at home on any couch or bed she can find. If you are sitting on the couch she will get as close to you as possible as she likes to get all the attention you may give her.
