This little girl Scarlet was trying to survive on the grounds of a hospital campus. Sometimes, to escape the cold and packs of feral dogs that also roamed the area, Scarlet would follow people into the hospital lobby for warmth and safety. We learned that the hospital administration planned to have Scarlet removed by animal control officers so we acted quickly to save her. Our advocates rescued her and found she had a fresh incision on her belly, telling us that she had been recently spayed and then cast out from the shelter. This 2.5 years old beauty is sweet and well behaved with no food aggression issues.
