Miss Margie, named after Margaret Thatcher, has been in the U.S. for a few months already. When Margie arrived from Turkey, she was overweight and had a completely shaved coat. She needed some TLC, so she went to stay with one of our marvelous foster homes where she got to hang out with 3 other Goldens, 2 of whom are KR alums. They encouraged Margie to walk and play more, so she lost a good amount of weight, and thanks to lots of love and good nutrition, her coat is soft and full. The time has come for Margie to head off to her forever home, and we're looking for someone who will keep working on getting the last few pounds off of her while giving her all of the love she deserves.
