Lucy has recently arrived in the U.S.! Good things come in small packages and our Lucy is proof of that. This little 1.5 yrs. old girl was found in one of the many overcrowded Turkish shelters, frightened and huddled in a corner. At just 17 lbs. Lucy is petite but she has a HUGE heart and is incredibly SWEET! Since being pulled from the shelter, Lucy has come alive. What she has gone through in her short life we will never know for certain but just one look her eyes tells us she is ready to leave the sadness, fear and loneliness behind. ADORABLE from her nose to the white tip of her tail, and with a new hairdo!! Now all she wants and needs is someone to love her. Could that be you?
UPDATE: We think we've figured out Lucy's breed! Her appearance closely resembles a Moon Welsh Terrier, and the breed description is spot-on for our girl:
