Recently arrived from Istanbul, Turkey... Poor John Adams was found all alone in a desolate area of Turkey, trying to survive on his own. Luckily we were able to rescue him and now that he knows he's safe, he's learning that life in the U.S. is a big step up from life on the streets. All he needs now is a soft bed and a loving family! John Adams is great with other dogs, and is a calm, yet active boy. Don't let his age fool you! John Adams loves long walks and playing at the dog park, but otherwise he lays quietly, although his foster mom reports that he always keeps an eye on her, especially when she's preparing yummy chicken. Don't worry about his serious expression either...that's his "give me the cheese" look when his foster mom is dangling cheese in front of the camera!
