Arriving soon from Istanbul, Turkey. This beautiful girl has an eternal smile on her face, and her gentle spirit is evident in every photo.
Daisy had a home once, as is common with many of our rescues. No matter how wonderful she was, she was eventually abandoned by her family, and then was hit by a car as she was not street-smart. Daisy did her best to survive despite having a serious leg fracture. When she was found, she was not able to walk, and her rescuers feared that she was paralyzed. She was found in a small village with no vet and not much knowledge about a dog’s health, but they did their best to care for her. Eventually Kyra's Rescue saw her, and we sent her to the vet where her x-rays revealed that she was not paralyzed, but had a broken leg. Unfortunately her fracture had healed poorly, but she's now able to walk with limp and one of her favorite activities is to chase and wrestle with one of her younger housemates. We won't rest until we find the perfect home for Daisy where she can forget all about the many years she suffered on those lonely streets.
