Two year old Dublin made his way to the U.S. back at the beginning of December, but he arrived with a limp due to a previous foreleg fracture. During the months he’s been in our care, Dublin has stolen the hearts of his foster mom and dad, and all of his furry foster siblings. He’s an incredibly happy-go-lucky boy who is calm, affectionate and loves riding in the car. He’s great with other dogs and he even likes baths! Oh…and did we mention how handsome he is? Dublin was rescued from an overrun Turkish shelter where had no chance of being adopted. Luckily, one of our helpers pulled him from the shelter and he eventually found his way to Kyra’s Rescue. We don’t know how he was injured, but Dublin suffered a fracture at some point and spent 1.5 months in the clinic. Dublin has recently seen Dr. Lazar, an orthopedic surgeon from the D.C. area, and Dr. Lazar has decided that Dublin has made great progress and does not need a painful and expensive surgery. His bone is healing well and the doctor prescribed more exercise to build muscle. Dr. Lazar has given his blessing for Dublin to start his search for a very lucky forever family.
