Sweet Kauai was dumped on the streets of Izmir, Turkey and left to fend for himself. Kyra's Rescue received a call about him and we knew we had to help him find a better life, so he just arrived in the U.S. and is ready to start his new life.
Kauai's foster mom reports that he is a wonderful dog who loves playing outdoors, he's affectionate and his playful personality is quite comical. He is energetic (when in running and playing mode) and a mushy love when he slows down and just wants to love you and be loved. He will climb right into your lap or lay his head on your leg. So very sweet. He sits when waiting for his food or to get his leashed hooked up. He sleeps soundly through the night 8 1/2 to 9 hours and is house trained. He rides perfectly in the car. He needs some training, but he's a quick learner. He also needs someone who will take him to the dog park and give him a nice long walk everyday, to burn up his energy. A fenced yard is preferred.
