More than a year ago , Kyra’s Rescue pulled this little fellow from a shelter, along with another orphan who was likewise languishing there, waiting for an adoptive family who would never come. Our flights hampered as a result of COVID-19 we were only recently able to bring Benji to the U. S. where he is now in search of he forever after. So sweet and calm, this Cairn Terrier simply loves every person he meets. His foster mom reports that he so enjoys his romps with his foster sisters in their fenced backyard. He runs, joyfully loving life with a big smile on his face and when inside he will sit calmly and quietly by your side, snuggling up to you while you both enjoy a movie on TV. Very intelligent, during his walks Benji embraces every every sight, every sound. Just a puppy when he was taken to the shelter we ask ourselves how anyone could leave behind such a wonderful little dog behind but of course we ask ourselves the same question every time we welcome a new innocent soul into KR. Benji would love a home with a fenced yard and another dog to play with. Like people, dogs are all different and each one has something very special. Just look into Benji’s eyes and you will see that this is a gentle soul who yearns to be loved by a family who will cherish him all the days of his life. This amazing boy weighs approximately 22 lbs and is one year and eight months old. We made a promise to Benji, that we would find for him the best forever home and his lonely days were over. We always keep our promises.
