Just arrived from Istanbul, Turkey. BARKLEY is so happy to have arrived in the U.S. and it shows! He is learning to live in a house now, as opposed to on the street, and he is loving life! He is 2 years old, and house broken. Little by little, Barkley's Golden/Lab personality is coming out, and it is amazing! His foster mom describes him as “ the sweetest boy ever!” He is calm and mellow, loves his food and his treats. He is a fast learner and walks very well on a leash and even stops to wait up for you! He is friendly with all dogs, and people, including children. He likes to run after balls and toss fluffy toys around in the air. Barkley is very affectionate and loves to cuddle, and by the way, he asked us to mention his pearly white teeth and beautiful coat! He is such a good boy who let his foster mom groom him, clip his nails and cut the hair in between his toes. He is one of those rare dogs we met that allows his teeth to be brushed.
